The use of wire tubes can protect the wires very well, avoid acid and alkali damage to the wires, and prevent rodents and insects from eating the wires. When the wires catch fire due to overheating, it can effectively prevent the occurrence of fire. The wiring of home decoration generally uses PVC plastic pipes as wire protection pipes. When laying the wire through the pipe, the total wire cross-sectional area of the wire should not exceed 40% of the inner diameter of the wire pipe. When designing the wire laying, the wire and the signal wire cannot pass through the same conduit to avoid mutual interference.
Household power cords should be BVV2×2.5 and BVV2×1.5 type wires. BVV is the national standard code, which is copper sheathed wire. BVV2×2.5 and BVV2×1.5, respectively represent 2 cores 2.5 square millimeters and 2 cores 1.5 square millimeters. In general, BVV2×2.5 is used as the main line and trunk line, and BVV2×1.5 is used as a single electrical branch line and switch line. BVV2×4 is used for the one-way air-conditioning line, and a special ground wire is also provided.
1. Check the "CCC" certification mark. Wire and cable products are national compulsory safety certification products. All manufacturers must obtain the "CCC" certification certified by the China Electrical Product Certification Commission, and have the "CCC" certification mark on the certificate or product.
2. Look at the inspection report. Regular manufacturers are inspected by the supervision department on a periodic basis. Therefore, the seller should be able to provide the inspection report of the quality inspection department, otherwise, the quality of the wire and cable products will be lack of basis.
3. Look at the packaging. When purchasing, pay attention to exquisite packaging, clear printing, complete model specifications, factory name and factory address.
4. Look at the exterior. The appearance of wire and cable products produced by regular manufacturers meets the standard requirements, is smooth and round, and has uniform color. The fake and shoddy products are rough and dull in appearance. For rubber insulated flexible cables, the appearance is required to be round, and the sheath, insulation and conductors are tight and not easy to peel off. The fake and shoddy products have rough appearance, large ovality, and low insulation strength of the sheath, which can be torn by hand.
5. Look at the conductors. Wire and cable products that meet the requirements of national standards, whether they are aluminum conductors or copper conductors, are relatively bright and free of oil pollution, so the DC resistance of the conductors fully conforms to the national standards, with good electrical conductivity and high safety.
6. Measure the length of the wire and cable. When purchasing, do not be greedy for cheapness, and choose wires and cables whose actual meters are lower than their nominal meters. The length must match the nominal meter. The state stipulates that the allowable error is ±0.5 meters per 100 meters.
